A Miller Cousin Mystery
“Dear Readers,
It took us six years to write this book. Ryan wasn’t born when the story began coming to life. The idea began because David and Daniel thought it would be cool to be an author and go to their school library and read the book they had written.
Over the years we wrote sitting on the floor, riding in a van, crossing waters in a ferry, over Skype and emails and huddled together on many, many sofas.
Sometimes an idea would come out of the blue and other times we would scratch our heads trying to figure out how to make the story scary or suspenseful or funny. David, Daniel, Joshua’s abuelo painted the illustrations and Casey and Ryan’s grampa took their photograph.
Always someone would see what was missing, someone would inspire the rest of us to keep going and someone would say, ‘I can’t wait to be famous.’
And everyone hoped you, the reader, would enjoy the story and come up with your own superpower and ways to be stronger and braver.
We hope you find our adventure fun. We sure did.”
The Miller cousins get an alarming letter. Their Gramma has been kidnapped and the boys are called into action. How will the cousins find Gramma and how will they get away from the man-eating guards protecting an ancient mummy. In this book, written by five real-life cousins, the boys, being smart and clever detectives, go on a great adventure to save their Gramma and find amazing surprises.
